• To independently and effectively deal with enquiries from all sources, including
• telephone callers and personal visitors.
• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of
• current networks
• Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network
• installation
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and
• security.
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Arranging scheduled upgrades

• Investigating faults in the network
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
• Greeting and directing visitors, answering phone inquiries and handling complaints in a
• courteous, professional manner
• Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with
• vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times
• Occasionally traveling off-site to deliver reports or files to other departments
• Ensuring the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems
• Coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos and reports and ensuring
• that everyone is kept current of necessary company news and information
• Operating copy equipment, fax machines, printers or other equipment necessary
• Plan warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity
• Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information
• accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and
• arranging for services as necessary
• Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways
• Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule
• Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low
• Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes
