Job Fair has created a framework that aims at enhancing the performance of
education systems and facilitating the entry of the youth into the labor
market. It also aims at encouraging the youth to take up technical Vocational
and engineering courses to be able to fit in the ever-changing labor market.
Although the TVET Section declined with the fall of the government in 1991,
there are new players in the field offering quality technical and vocational
education that will help reduce unemployment. Institutions such as Hano Academy[2] have
introduced market-oriented courses and are working towards filling the labor
gap in the current economy.
